Come to Comedy Haha @ The Mercantile - home to one of the greatest improv troupes going 'The Princes of Lagos', who perform their award winning, fully improvised show every second Wednesday. On alternate weeks, the very best of Irish stand up, John Colleary, Gearoid Farrelly, Damian Clark, David McSavage, Robbie Bonham, Foil, Arms and Hog plus many more top acts grace our stage and will continue to grace our stage into the next millenium. International trendsetters, 'The Inquizition', can be seen taking the MC duties. The improv shows are always unique and fully interactive, as 'The Princes' invite suggestions from the audience, while some members of the audience will also be asked to participate in the show! The comedy is varied and comes fast, furious but always very, very funny. It's only 7 euro admission, while there are also group, student and unemployment discounts. The club is in 'The Venue', part of the Mercantile Bar and comes with its own fully stocked bar and table service. It's right in the centre of Dublin, three minutes walk from Trinity College with easy access to most bus routes and a taxi rank across the road. We've also held the exclusive world wide premiere of 'destined to be stratospheric superstars' - The Blacks Brothers!!! And as we said before its still cheap, tickets just 7 euro, or 5 pre-booked (or if your a smelly student! clean students are charged full price...!!!) So come on in and make sure to ask for Jimmy... And just one more thing, as Columbo would say... Remember that our improv shows are extremely 'audience friendly', so don't be afraid to shout out and be heard! We also run 'Improv Jams' where the audience get to jump up on stage and participate in the show - so look out for them and YOU could be the new star of improv!!!
